Charles Leclerc will start from pole position for the ninth time in 2022 at Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix.

The Monegasque outpaced Red Bull's Sergio Perez by just 0.022 seconds to clinch P1 on the grid, while Lewis Hamilton qualified his Mercedes in third.

Leclerc's Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz will line up fourth, with fellow Spaniard Fernando Alonso one spot behind him in fifth.

Max Verstappen starts the race from P8 after a fuel blunder in qualifying left him unable to set a final fastest lap.

Elsewhere, George Russell suffered a shock Q2 exit, putting him in P11. However, it has since been confirmed that the Briton will start from the pit lane due to his car being fitted with new power unit elements.

The starting grid below is provisional until confirmed by F1's governing body, the FIA.
