During the 2025 Formula 1 season, ten F1 teams competed for the world title. McLaren are this season's defending champion, after winning the constructors' championship last year after a 26-year wait!

Red Bull Racing secured the constructors' title in 2023, and this looked set to repeat itself at the start of the 2024 season with a dominant performance. However, the Austrian team lost its momentum, and the battle ultimately came down to McLaren and Ferrari, with the British team emerging victorious. McLaren finished 14 points ahead of Ferrari, while Red Bull finished third.
Mercedes finished fourth with 468 points, more than 100 points behind Red Bull, and had no direct rivals, which was also the case for Aston Martin, who finished fifth with 94 points.
A fierce battle ensued for sixth place in the championship, which was eventually won by Alpine. This seemed against all odds, as the French team had a disastrous start to the season and was playing catch-up for the entire year. In Brazil, however, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon finished second and third, scoring a remarkable 49 points. Following a strong performance in the final races, the team ultimately finished with 65 points.
Haas finished respectably behind the French team with 58 points after a solid season, followed by Visa Cash App RB with 46 points (now known as Racing Bulls).
Williams endured a mediocre season with a record amount of damage and finished ninth with 17 points. Stake F1 Team brought up the rear; throughout the season, it seemed as though the Swiss team wouldn't score any points at all. However, Zhou Guanyu managed to score points during the Qatar Grand Prix, allowing the team to finish the season with four points.
