F1 2022 Singapore Grand Prix - FP1 results

Lewis Hamilton set the pace around the Marina Bay Street Circuit ahead of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.

The Mercedes driver set the fastest time on the Soft tyres in the closing minutes of the session, remarkably topping the timesheets for the first time in 2022.

Verstappen was just 0.084s behind, with Leclerc a further 0.402s rounding out the top three.

Lance Stroll ended the session eighth quickest despite hitting the wall at Turn 4 and causing a Red Flag after stopping on track.

Alex Albon finished the session in 16th quickest on his return after sitting out the Italian Grand Prix.
