Max Verstappen has stated people who criticised his driving and team radio messages during the Hungarian Grand Prix can “fuck off”.
Verstappen endured a difficult race, crossing the line in fifth place after starting from third on the grid.
The Dutchman was heard lamenting a series of team strategy calls over the team radio during the race as he took issue with being undercut by rival drivers.
Late on in the grand prix, Verstappen went in chase of Lewis Hamilton for the final spot on the podium behind the two McLaren drivers.
However, contact was made between the former title rivals at Turn 1, resulting in Verstappen dropping to fifth place behind Charles Leclerc.
When asked what his response is to people who commented he went too far with his criticisms of the team, Verstappen told media including RacingNews365: “They can all fuck off.”

Verstappen deflects blame for Hamilton crash
The collision with Hamilton was the second time in three races that Verstappen has collided with a rival as he also came to blows with Lando Norris at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Verstappen pointed to the criticism he received following the clash with Norris and asserted he was not to blame for the coming together with Hamilton at the Hungaroring.
“I got a lot of shit thrown at me in Austria where people said I was moving under the braking, blah, blah, blah,” Verstappen said.
“I positioned my car in the initial movement and then I kept it straight.
“But today under braking, he just kept turning to the right. That's why I also locked up because I was of course going for the move, but I saw the car on the outside just kept coming at me.
“Otherwise we would have crashed already before that. I had to try and stop the car and that's why I had to lock up.”
