Fergal Walsh
Fergal Walsh, F1 journalist for RacingNews365Fergal joined the RacingNews365 team in August 2023 after spending a handful of years working within the motorsport industry as a freelancer with publications that included Formula 1 itself, before working full-time for Motorsport Week.
He has travelled to several Grands Prix as part of his work, including to locations such as Miami and Abu Dhabi.
Fergal has long been interested in F1, a love interest that originated in the early 2000s when he was brought to see a Michael Schumacher championship-winning Ferrari on display at a local car dealership.
Born and based in Ireland, he graduated from the University of Derby in 2020 with a first-class honours degree in Sports Journalism.
F1 is one of Fergal’s biggest passions but when he is not focused on the racing field, he is likely either watching or reading about basketball, a scene he adores almost as much as motorsport.
