Williams driver Franco Colapinto has been linked with Sergio Perez's Red Bull seat, to partner Max Verstappen next season.

Perez has come under scrutiny once again for his poor performances, resulting in several names being rumoured as a contender for his spot.

If the Milton Keynes-based team prefer Colapinto over the other candidates, then a $20 million fee will need to be made for Williams, RacingNews365 understands.

Colapinto has huge financial backing from Argentina, and has delivered some exceptional performances since replacing Logan Sargeant; however, Brazil was a real challenge with two crashes.

Should Red Bull replace Perez with Colapinto?
