With 19 victories (23 if you count the Sprint) and 575 points scored in the World Championship, it's not surprising that Red Bull paid Max Verstappen a hefty fee for his services in 2023.
For his efforts, Forbes has estimated that the Dutchman banked just the $70 million USD. This came as a base salary of $45 million and bonuses for race wins and the championship coming in at $25 million.
Next on the Forbes list is Lewis Hamilton - who actually earned more in base salary than Verstappen, with just the $55 million paid to the seven-time champion, although there was no bonus, with Fernando Alonso sneaking into third.
