Max Verstappen secured two wins from three on night two of Team Redline's Real Racers Never Quit virtual series to move ip to second in the standings.
The three-time F1 World Champion was only eighth in the standings after the first round but, following on from his virtual Daytona 24 Hours success over the weekend, Verstappen continued his hot streak.
In the first race, the Red Bull driver edged out Chris Lulham for victory despite an eventful event starting from fourth on the grid at Silverstone. A switch to Mugello and F4 machinery saw Verstappen take pole position and a comfortable lead in the early stages, only for a mistake to cost him too positions.
Verstappen fought back, however, and slipstreamed his way to the front, again ahead of Lulham. The final race of the night saw a reverse grid in play, forcing a 10th-place start.
A quick rise saw Verstappen take fifth on the road by the midway point of the event, which became third when two rivals tangled. But with slipstreaming again in effect, he crossed the line alongside Lulham and Diogo Pinto in a pulsating finish to the race.
It was Lulham who emerged on top, taking a championship lead into round three.
