Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton have had a tougher start to the season than they have experienced in past years, but both have still been able to achieve enviable records in the 2022 campaign.
So far, Mercedes are the only team to have scored points at all 11 rounds of the championship, helping them to achieve a solid third in the Constructors' standings.
On nine of these occasions, both Hamilton and Geoerge Russell have finished within the top 10.
The only exceptions are the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix – where Hamilton struggled to overtake Pierre Gasly and ended the event down in 13th – and the British Grand Prix, with a dramatic first-lap incident putting Russell out of the race.
Despite not yet having the pace to match Red Bull and Ferrari at the front, Mercedes' consistency has allowed them to put 237 points on the board, a considerable 156 points ahead of nearest rivals McLaren in fourth.

Hamilton holds unique record in 2022
Russell's retirement at Silverstone means that Hamilton now holds a unique record of his own.
The seven-time World Champion is the only driver to have finished every race of the 2022 campaign, despite not being within the points at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
This also extends to the two Sprint races that have been held so far at Imola and Austria, in which Hamilton finished 14th and eighth respectively.
In the Drivers' standings, Hamilton currently has 109 points, putting him in sixth. Teammate Russell is a further 19 points ahead in P5.
