Charles Leclerc has revealed he speaks to Lewis Hamilton “quite often” ahead of their Ferrari partnership next season.
Hamilton confirmed earlier this year that he would depart Mercedes at the end of 2024 and make a shock switch to Ferrari.
The seven-time world champion will be Leclerc's third full-time team-mate at Ferrari since joining the Italian squad in 2019.
As they prepare to join forces in several months' time, Leclerc asserted he is in frequent conversations with Hamilton - but not regarding their pending partnership.
“We speak quite often actually,” Leclerc told media including RacingNews365.
“But as I had already replied to that, we are not really speaking about what’s going on within our team.
“Because for now, I am fully focused on my season ahead with Ferrari and obviously the other seasons after that.”

Hamilton 'focused on Mercedes'
Hamilton has endured a difficult run of seasons since 2022, with Mercedes slipping back in the pecking order under new technical regulations.
Leclerc declared the 39-year-old is more focused on ending his Mercedes tenure strongly rather than opportunities with Ferrari.
“Lewis is focused on his last year with Mercedes and finishing on a high,” Leclerc stated.
“So we are not speaking about anything that is going on within the team, about upgrades or whatsoever, but more about general stuff, not related to performance or anything like that.
“But we have a good relationship, so of course we speak quite often. But again, not too many details.”
