Red Bull has completely changed Max Verstappen's power unit for the Spanish Grand Prix.

The change means that the Dutchman is now on his fourth - and final - components from his pool. Any further parts will incur a grid penalty.

Whilst other parts will still be available to the 26-year-old, any brand new ones will trigger the sanction.

The FIA confirmed it was a change of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Turbocharger (TC), Motor Generator Unit-Heat (MGU-H) and Motor Generator Unit-Kinetic (MGU-K) in the back of Verstappen's RB20.

It has also been announced the three-time drivers' champion is running a new gearbox at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Pierre Gasly is in the same situation as Verstappen, with his fourth parts in his Alpine. They are the first two drivers to reach into the final parts of their allowed allocation.

Carlos Sainz is onto the third components in his power unit pool, and team-mate Charles Leclerc has taken his third MGU-H.
