Max Verstappen has got to grips with a Honda Acura GTP sportscar for the first time as part of a special Honda promotional day. 

On Tuesday ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix where he can become a four-time world champion, Verstappen took the IMSA machine out for a spin in Nevada.

Wolff criticises Horner over FIA inquiry into wife Susie

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has claimed Red Bull boss Christian Horner was highly reluctant to sign a statement voicing support for the Wolff family amid an FIA investigation.

The FIA launched an inquiry last year after suggestions over a conflict of interest, with Toto's wife Susie heading the all-female F1 Academy.

Ex-F1 driver 'amazed' at Verstappen F1 'prejudice'

David Coulthard has claimed "prejudice" exists against Max Verstappen if the quality of his crushing Sao Paulo win cannot be respected.

From 17th on the grid in a torrentially wet Interlagos race, Verstappen stormed to victory, with pole-sitting title rival Lando Norris only taking sixth after a troubled day.

Lawson highlights core F1 driver issue

Liam Lawson has stated F1 cars are so different to any other type of single-seater challenger, it is impossible to know if a driver is able to cope until they jump behind the wheel.

Several rookie drivers will take part in F1 full-time next year with Kimi Antonelli, Jack Doohan, Oliver Bearman and Gabriel Bortoleto all signed up to race seats.

F1's horror Las Vegas GP start revisited 12 months on

F1's return to Las Vegas in 2023 broke a trend stretching back nearly 38 years - to the 1985 South African Grand Prix.

With a 22:00 local time start on Saturday evening - 06:00 Sunday in the UK - it was the first grand prix not to be held on a Sunday in the near four decades since the trip to Kyalami.

Hamilton dismisses 'odd' Mercedes claim as F1 vow made

Lewis Hamilton insists he will "not hold anything back" from aiding Mercedes' development in his final races with the team. 

Hamilton is preparing to depart Mercedes after 12 seasons, with just three races remaining before his switch to Ferrari.
