Lance Stroll is prepared to accept the 'show' nature of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, but insists he does not want "to be dancing every weekend."
F1's return to Las Vegas was met with hostility in some quarters over the 'show' nature to the race, with Max Verstappen declaring the event on Thursday to be "99% show, 1% sporting event."
He somewhat softened that stance, and ended the weekend by singing "Viva Las Vegas" in an Elvis Pressley-themed race suit on his victorious in-lap, with Stroll agreeing that the show brought something different to Grand Prix racing.
However, the Aston Martin driver, who backed up fifth-place in Brazil by matching that result in Nevada, has warned it needs to be the exception, rather than the norm going forward.

Stroll urges caution
"It is good for the sport to have a few races like this, where it really puts on a big show for Formula 1, and get everyone watching," Stroll told media including RacingNews365.
"It is great for the business, it attracts a lot of people and fans to the race.
"Do I want to be jumping and dancing to Tiesto every single weekend? Not really, but occasionally, it is fun for the show."
As for his race, Stroll banked a second-successive top-five finish, and beat team-mate Fernando Alonso in a race where both finished since the Austrian Sprint and in a Grand Prix for the second time in the season, and first since Spain.
"A lot of guys pitted under the Virtual Safety Car, or the Safety Car, so I don't think that's really when the race came to us," he said.
"Lap 1 was really good as we gained like 10 positions with a lot of guys going wide at Turn 1, and from there, we had really good pace in the car.
"We were on the front foot attacking the whole race, which is different, and I think we've been a bit more of a Sunday car this year compared to Saturdays.
"It's been a trend for over a year, with just a very good car on a Sunday, so I felt like that was the case again."
