Jake joined the RacingNews365 team in August 2022 having spent time as a freelance motorsport and then full-time sports journalist, covering events such the Beijing Winter Olympics and Super Bowl, but knew he'd always end up in motorsport journalism full-time sooner or later.
He ran coverage of NASCAR for Autosport in a previous life, interviewing multiple Cup Series champions as well as spending time in UK national paddocks such as Pembrey, Castle Coombe and Anglesey.
No-one is quite sure where his love of motorsport comes from, as his family are far from hardcore racers, although driving past Brands Hatch one BTCC weekend as a young boy might have something to do with it.
He graduated with a first-class degree in Sports Journalism in 2019 from the University of Bedfordshire, finishing top in class.
When not trying to find some obscure stat in the F1 history books, he is a keen amateur astronomer, reader and listens to far too many podcasts.
