The verdict has been delivered on Red Bull's surprising decision to retain Sergio Perez for the remainder of the 2024 F1 season.
It was widely anticipated the 34-year-old would be sidelined by the Milton Keynes-based team, as it looks to fend off fast-charging McLaren in the constructors' championship race.
The Mexican driver has only managed to score 28 points over the past eight rounds, whilst team-mate Max Verstappen has take 141 over the same period.
That has allowed the Woking squad to whittle down Red Bull's points advantage from 115 points to just 42. On current pace, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will push McLaren past Red Bull in the constructors' fight before the end of the year.
It was expected that Red Bull would make a change, bringing in either Daniel Ricciardo or Liam Lawson alongside Max Verstappen for the remainder of the campaign.
However, the team decided against such measures, something the vast majority of F1 fans disagree with.
Of 6,637 respondents, a fraction over 25 percent feel keeping Perez for the rest of the year is the best course of action, meaning the overwhelming majority believe Red Bull has made a mistake.
