Nico Hulkenberg brought out the red flag after crash at Turn 1 during the second free practice session for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.

The 37-year-old slide sideways into the gravel trap at the start of the lap, with his Haas ending up in the wall.

There has been considerable wind all weekend at Zandvoort, which has unsettled the cars. The German driver looked to be a passenger with no clear and obvious mistake on his part.

The session was resumed shortly after, and Hulkenberg was seen walking back to the pits.

Hulkenberg struggled during the first practice session, having a number of off-track moments - notably at Turn 1, Turn 9 and Turn 10. However, each time he escaped without damaging his car.
