George Russell and Lewis Hamilton put Mercedes firmly in the mix for the Mexican GP Pole Position by topping the final free practice session.
Russell's time of 1:18.399 was less than two tenths of a second faster than teammate Hamilton, with the seven-time champion a further three tenths ahead of Red Bull's Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman was a further three tenths ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, with their respective teammates Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz almost one second off Mercedes' pace.
McLaren's Lando Norris led the midfield battle, ahead of Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas, AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda and Alex Albon, who completed the top ten for Williams.
