Following the US Grand Prix from Austin, Texas, Lance Stroll currently holds the record for the most race starts without a fastest lap.
The record was previously held by Johnny Herbert who took part in his last grand prix at the end of the 2000 season.
Stroll has never claimed the fastest lap in his 162 grand prix starts which sees him take over at the top of the list from Herbert.
The Canadian driver has enjoyed some success during his eight-year association with F1 with one pole position and three podiums to his name.
Stroll ended the US Grand Prix in 15th, marking his sixth race in a row without a point-scoring finish.
Alex Albon is the only other driver on the grid that has more than 100 starts without a fastest lap achieved.
