Sergio Perez is adamant that “you will see me next year” amid renewed speculation over his F1 future.

Perez has endured a challenging fourth campaign at Red Bull, having last stood on the podium in Miami.

Following a difficult home grand prix in Mexico last weekend, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner hinted at the possibility of “difficult decisions” being made after the squad slipped to third place in the constructors' championship.

It was rumoured that Red Bull was looking to make an immediate change in driver line-up at the team following the upcoming race in Brazil.

However, Perez has shut down the suggestion: “No, not at all. It’s just rumours, at the end of the day.

“There needs to be a little bit more professionalism from the media spreading rumours like that.

“You will see me in Vegas, you will see me next year. I’m not the one that worries about it.”

On the build-up to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix weekend, team advisor Helmut Marko stated the team was evaluating its current set-up.

The Austrian appeared to affirm that Perez will at least see out the season by insisting that "decisions will only be made after Abu Dhabi".

When Marko's comments about the possibility of not being in the seat next year were put to Perez, the 34-year-old replied: “Well I know I am. That’s all I can say.”
