Lewis Hamilton is approaching his final grand prix as a Mercedes driver, ending a partnership which started 26 years ago.

Whilst the seven-time world champion has raced for the Silver Arrows since 2013, he has been associated with the German manufacturer since his karting career.

Across the past 12 seasons, six drivers' titles, eight constructors' titles and 84 races have been won.

It is a partnership which will be remembered forever, but is it the greatest the pinnacle of motorsport has ever seen?

Based on the statistics, it is the most successful, but does it trump the likes of Max Verstappen and Red Bull or Michael Schumacher and Ferrari.
