Lando Norris will not face a penalty following the F1 sprint at the Circuit of the Americas, with the stewards having decided to take no further action.
The McLaren driver was investigated after the sprint for driving erratically on the final lap at Turn 15, whilst battling with Charles Leclerc.
Norris defended hard against Leclerc, with the latter having attempted to dive up the inside of the 24-year-old.
Leclerc was unable to snatch third from Norris, due to the McLaren driver's excellent car positioning. However, the Monegasque was unhappy with Norris' defence.
Following an investigation, the stewards deemed that Norris did not drive in an erratic manner, nor at the first corner on the final lap when overtaken by Carlos Sainz.
The full stewards' report read: "The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video and in-car video evidence.
"There did not appear to be any significant changes of direction under braking, and the move at Turn 15 was a legitimate defending move by the driver of Car 4.
"In Turn 1 Car 4 locked up under braking and went wide, losing a position. Accordingly the Stewards determine that there is no erratic driving and hence take no further action."
