Let it snow! Formula 1 circuits covered in snow

Whilst an F1 race has never been impacted by a thick layer of snow settling on the ground, there have been plenty of moments of snowy fun resulting in some extraordinary pictures.

CM.com Circuit Zandvoort

While we still have to wait (and hope!) a while before the Zandvoort circuit is covered in a good amount of snow, Red Bull Racing is already dreaming of white dunes.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Is it a dream, or a nightmare? A snow race on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit? The chances of this ever happening are close to nil, but never say never.

In any case, a thick layer of snow over Eau Rouge makes for beautiful images. Check out what the track looked like last winter below!

Red Bull Ring

Snow is often found in Austria. So is the Red Bull Ring...

Would they sell ski passes? After all, we do want to take the sled down from Turn 3 in the opposite direction....

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Where snow is somewhat less common is in Barcelona. Therefore, it was also unique in 2018 that snow fell during the test days in February. The morning session on the third day of testing was even cancelled.
