Max Verstappen's chief mechanic Lee Stevenson is to depart Red Bull after 18 years with the team. Stevenson has been alongside Verstappen for all of his 56 grand prix wins and three world championships to date, but is departing the Milton Keynes squad for a new team "at the other end of the pit-lane." Stevenson was one of the key figures involved in repairing Verstappen's damaged suspension on the grid at the 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix, after he crashed on the formation lap, before claiming a podium. His final day with Red Bull was on March 28th, where he recorded a farewell Instagram message, which can be viewed below!
