Ferrari's Formula 1 team is to be officially known as 'Scuderia Ferrari HP' from the Miami Grand Prix onwards.

As RacingNews365 wrote yesterday, the team has agreed a multi-year deal with computer giant HP for a title sponsorship that could rival Red Bull's mega-money deal with Oracle.

The deal covers the F1 team, E-Sports squad as well as the Ferrari Driver Academy, including its F1 Academy entry for Maya Weug.

The new livery for the car will be unveiled in Miami - at the same time as the team reveals a one-off blue design to celebrate 70 years in the North American market.

Before the HP title sponsorship announcement, Ferrari had simply been known as 'Scuderia Ferrari' on the FIA's official 2024 entry list.

Lessons from Enzo Ferrari

"Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress," explained Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna.

"From this stems our drive to innovate on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future, from carbon neutrality to the education of the younger generation.

"In HP we have found the same values, which make it an ideal partner. We look forward to starting our collaboration and facing new opportunities and challenges together."

Ferrari has been historically title-sponsored by Phillip Morris International brands Marlboro and Misson Winnow, but has had no agreement in place since 2021, as US giant HP is set to fill that role.

"With technology, performance and exceptional craftsmanship fuelling the future, the partnership between HP and Ferrari is a natural fit," added HP CEO Enrique Lores.

"Both brands are built on rich histories that have endured the test of time. Through this unique collaboration, we also have an opportunity to reach new audiences, drive business growth, and create lasting impact for our shared clients and communities.

"Together we will leverage the global stage of racing to accelerate sustainable innovation."
