Daniel Ricciardo launched into an expletive-laden rant on team radio after failing to score in the São Paulo Grand Prix Sprint.
The Australian was in fine form during the 24-lap event, stalking Ferrari's Carlos Sainz for the final points-paying position at Interlagos.
Ricciardo twice made impressive moves around the outside of Turn 1 in his AlphaTauri, only to lose out to the Spaniard on the run to Turn 4 as the Ferrari picked up DRS in return.
Clearly unimpressed by the positioning of the DRS detection line on the exit of Turn 2, Ricciardo said on team radio: "F**k, F**k, F**k, F**k. Sorry guys.
"Just that f***ing DRS in Turn 2. You pass in [Turn] 1 and then you just get f***ed. It is impossible.
"Anyway, I'll shut up."

'I never get rewarded'
Addressing the issue in conversation with Sky Sports F1, Ricciardo explained: "I completed a move on him [Sainz] at least twice, maybe more than twice, but the DRS [detection] line, is in Turn 2.
"So every time I passed him in Turn 1, I was basically waving him back past before Turn 4, so that was extremely frustrating but i dodn't really feel like I could do much more.
"You're trying to pass someone so you go for it, but I never got rewarded."
