Alpine F1 Academy driver Gabriele Mini topped the timesheets in Formula E's annual Berlin rookie test, held at the Tempelhof Airport circuit.

The Formula 2 driver posted a stunning 57.428, quicker than any FE driver managed across the Berlin E-Prix – only two sessions were conducted in dry conditions. Remarkably, Mini was driving Oliver Rowland's Nissan, who was crowned world champion on Sunday.

DTM driver Ayhancan Güven secured second spot for Porsche, but was over two-tenths adrift. F2 driver Kush Maini was third, ahead of Callum Voisin and McLaren junior star Alex Dunne.

The test featured several drivers from the current F2 grid, including championship contender Jak Crawford who ended the test in sixth. Mercedes F1 reserve Fred Vesti was eighth, with ex-F1 driver Daniil Kvyat in 11th

Reigning F1 Academy driver Abbi Pulling ended the test in a respectable 16th, ahead of Ferrari F1 development driver Arthur Leclerc.
