Sergio Perez has highlighted a critical few weeks ahead for Red Bull, believing the team has "no questions" remaining over its slump in form.

The performance of Red Bull's RB20 has declined steeply over recent races, with the team firmly fourth fastest at the Italian Grand Prix. Perez was eighth in qualifying and the race, whilst Max Verstappen was only seventh and sixth respectively.

The drop-off in performance from the car has allowed McLaren to snatch Red Bull's status as having the fastest car, with boss Christian Horner admitting that the current problems with it were first seen during the 2023 United States Grand Prix weekend.

Perez's form and future have been the subject of considerable speculation since May's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, with the Mexican only scoring 40 points in the 10 races after Miami, but he is sure Red Bull can turn its form around.

"The good thing is that we have no questions now," Perez told media including RacingNews365.

"We know exactly where the issue is, we can clearly see it on the data, but it is just about how we fix it and how we attack it.

"I will be in the factory with the engineers because [the next few weeks] are going to be really important."

Perez's problems

Perez stated during the Italian GP weekend that Verstappen had also started to report similar problems he had been complaining about for months in terms of the balance of the car, as he highlighted two areas where the car was suffering.

"We need to be able to stop the car and be able to carry the speed in," he said.

"We are not able to throw the car [into the corners] because of [a lack of grip] from the rear."
