Both McLaren drivers have been fitted with their fourth and final legal internal combustion engine, turbocharger, motor generator unit-heat and motor generator unit-kinetic.

Lewis Hamilton has revealed his session-ending issue during sprint qualifying at Spa-Francorchamps was a career first for him.

George Russell hints at painful reason behind 'shock' sprint qualifying disaster

George Russell has suggested gravel deposited on the Spa-Francorchamps track by team-mate Kimi Antonelli may have resulted in his early exit from sprint qualifying.

Antonelli failed to advance past the opening segment of qualifying on Friday and ended the session in 20th place.

Lando Norris issues 'impossible to say' verdict after being crushed by Oscar Piastri

Lando Norris has claimed it is "impossible to say" if his push lap preparation compromised his efforts in sprint qualifying at the Belgian Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver will line up third for the one-third distance race at Spa Francorchamps, with Oscar Piastri on pole and Max Verstappen alongside him.

Max Verstappen devalues upgraded Red Bull advantage after McLaren Spa split

Max Verstappen has downplayed the apparent advantage of his upgraded Red Bull at Spa-Francorchamps after managing to split McLaren duo Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in sprint qualifying.

In an RB21 sporting a raft of updates, including a revised front wing, Verstappen will start second on the grid behind Piastri, albeit finishing 0.477s adrift of the championship-leading Australian, who set a new lap record of 1:40.510s.

Pierre Gasly discovers fate of F1 stewards’ decision after 'tow' revelation

Pierre Gasly has escaped punishment from the stewards at Spa-Francorchamps after being investigated for potentially impeding Yuki Tsunoda.

The Frenchman will therefore retain his eighth-place starting slot for the one-third distance sprint at the Belgian Grand Prix.
