Lando Norris secured pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix, courtesy of his opening lap in the final part of qualifying.
The Briton set a 1m 40.562 to go 0.085s quicker than Oscar Piastri, whilst several surprises were present behind, including, Alex Albon in fifth.
Sprint winner Max Verstappen had to settle for fourth, after failing to take the fight to either Norris or Piastri. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc stunned Verstappen to claim fourth.
Lewis Hamilton suffered another qualifying shocker, as a lap deletion saw him eliminated in Q1, as was Kimi Antonelli.
