The Chinese Grand Prix weekend is underway after Free Practice 1, topped by Lance Stroll in the Aston Martin.
A late flyer was enough for the Canadian as the track underwent massive evolution as laps were made and rubber stuck down heading into the Sprint Shootout.
The same as normal qualifying in structure, the segment times are reduced in the Shootout used to form the grid for the Sprint - which will be on Saturday morning.
