F1 driver standings: Hamilton retakes the lead from Verstappen

Lewis Hamilton's 100th career F1 victory means he once again sits atop the Drivers' Standings following the Russian Grand Prix.

A late rain shower denied long-time leader Lando Norris his maiden F1 win, with Hamilton coming out on top after timing his switch to Intermediate tyres just right.

The result means Hamilton is the first F1 driver to hit the century mark in terms of wins, and also sees him leapfrog Max Verstappen in the standings, with the gap now two points in the Briton's favour.

Nonetheless, the Dutchman and Red Bull will be pleased with how the race at the Sochi Autodrom played out, as they went from P20 to P2 after taking a grid penalty for an engine change.

Meanwhile, Mercedes have extended their lead in the Constructors' Standings to 33 points, aided by Valtteri Bottas' fifth-place finish.

McLaren maintain their hold on P3 over Ferrari, despite Carlos Sainz's third-place finish.
