Racing Bulls F1

Racing Bulls will race with the same driver line-up in 2025, with Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar. 
 

The Racing Bulls team remains under the guidance of Helmut Marko and Team Principal Laurent Mekies for 2025. The two men have been key in navigating the team from being Red Bull’s junior team to sister team. 
 

Red Bull initially bought the former Minardi F1 team from Paul Stoddart in 2005 as a place for their academy drivers to develop. That has certainly happened, with the likes of Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz ,Alexander Albon and Liam Lawson all featuring for the team at some point since their inception.

Pole position for Vettel with Torro Rosso

Toro Rosso received a major boost in terms of notoriety in 2008 when Vettel claimed a shock pole and victory at the Italian Grand Prix, a result that was a sign of things to come for the German, who went on to dominate F1 for several years after being promoted to Red Bull in 2009.

Victory for Alpha Tauri in 2020

While the team settled in as a bottom-to-mid table outfit for a long time, the focus has changed in that the squad are no longer just developing drivers. Results have improved since the early 2010s, despite an ever-changing cast of drivers, and another memorable victory came in 2020, the year the team rebranded from Torro Rosso to AlphaTauri, when Gasly won the Italian Grand Prix.
 

2021 was AlphaTauri's most successful season to date but, with Gasly and Tsunoda both remaining for 2022, the team endured a tough season after the technical regulation reset. An overweight AlphaTauri car hampered the drivers, who couldn't guide the car to better than ninth in the Constructors' standings.
 

After Gasly's switch to Alpine, De Vries - who signed after an impressive debut at the 2022 Italian GP - joins Tsunoda in the race to be first in the queue for a Red Bull drive, should one become available after 2023. In 2024, the team will drive with Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda. Besides, the team will hold the name Visa Cash App RB since 2024. Later in the season Daniel Ricciardo was replaced by Liam Lawson.

From AlphaTauri to Visa Cash App RB

In 2024, the team started with Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda as drivers under the new team name Visa Cash App RB. However, after the Singapore Grand Prix, Liam Lawson took over Daniel Ricciardo's spot as a full-time driver until the end of the season. For the 2025 Formula 1 season, it was decided that the team would no longer be called Visa Cash App RB but Racing Bulls.

It seemed that the season would start with Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda as the regular drivers. However, the driver duo was changed after the Chinese Grand Prix, with Tsunoda being promoted to Red Bull, while Liam Lawson returned to Racing Bulls due to disappointing performances.
