Andretti's bullet

Andretti is not slowing down in its attempt to get onto the F1 grid despite being blocked back in January.

Meetings on Capitol Hill have been had, letters from the Senate and House of Representatives written, but as it stands Andretti won't be on the grid.

1978 world champion Mario has revealed a purported chat he had with Liberty Media chief Greg Maffei, which left Andretti with a "bullet through my heart."

Leclerc quashes Ferrari concern

After the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix last weekend, Charles Leclerc claimed that Red Bull and McLaren were doing "something weird" with their energy systems.

Power deployment and energy efficiency is key, but Leclerc has soothed any concerns about Ferrari leading into his home race.

Verstappen talks Antonelli

Max Verstappen was just 17 when he made his F1 debut back in 2015, and so is well-versed to offer advice to Andrea Kimi Antonelli as rumours swirl about the Mercedes protege.

It is unlikely Antonelli will race in F1 before August 25th, when he turns 18 and becomes eligible for a superlicence but it is almost certain that he will be in F1, somewhere, next season.

And Verstappen has offered some advice to the Italian.

Marko's choice

It does seem that Verstappen will be staying at Red Bull next year, but the identity of his team-mate is not so certain.

Dr Helmut Marko will be a key player in making the decision, and he's dropped a hint about who is in prime position to drive the RB21.
