The FIA confirmed on Friday that Charles Leclerc had received a €10,000 fine - €5,000 of which is suspended for 12 months - after swearing during an official press conference.

His penalty contrasts with that of Verstappen, who was issued a community service punishment in September for a similar remark.

Verstappen's penalty resulted in a boycott of the FIA press conference from the Dutchman, who instead held his own media sessions outside the room.

But was the FIA right to punish Leclerc differently from Verstappen?

Or should either driver have been punished at all? Have your say in our poll below!
