Stake F1 will change its entry name to Kick Sauber for the Australian Grand Prix this weekend.

The Hinwil-based outfit has introduced a bold new identity for the new campaign as it bridges the gap between the former Alfa Romeo sponsorship and it becoming the Audi works team from 2026.

Stake has taken on title sponsorship for the season but, due to anti-gambling laws in certain regions, chassis sponsor - streaming service Kick - will take on the official naming rights for these races.

The name changes will take place in Australia, Spain, Belgium and Qatar.

Speaking to media including RacingNews365 ahead of the season, team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi explained: "Last year, we alternated to different team names according to the different countries where we go racing.

"We will be fully compliant with all the local applicable laws and where Stake is permitted. So where gambling advertising is prohibited, we will use a different name.

"As last year, we have Kick as one of our most important partners - the car launch was streamed live on Kick.com, our chassis name is Kick Sauber, so where we will not be racing as Stake, we will use the second team name."
