Fortunately, as the race-start time of 15:00 local approaches, the sun will begin to break through, with the threat of rain reducing, but still a possibility. In the hilly landscape of Barcelona, the rain could stay put. The wind is expected to be blowing at around 10-20kph with gusts of 30-40kph towards the northeast, which roughly corresponds to a headwind on the main pit straight, which should aid overtaking, with temperatures of 22 degrees.
