The Mercedes W15 looks almost entirely new compared to last year's car.
The nose, front wing, sidepods and rear have all been radically changed but, where the front wing already looked special in the studio photos, it looked even more striking in real life.
In the photos from the pit box at Silverstone, where the W15 later took to the track, an even more striking front wing could be seen.

Grey area
According to F1's technical regulations, all elements must be fixed to the nose. However, at first glance, the top, fourth element (outlined in red below), does not appear to be attached to the car. How is that possible?
Ahead of the third element runs a wire by which the part is "attached" to the car. A loophole, grey area, illegal, or just plain clever? In any case, an innovation with which Mercedes will surely cause a stir and which the competition will be watching. Simply copy, or perhaps start a lobby to ban the construction? Time will tell.
