Hamilton and Verstappen have spoken together after Silverstone crash

RN365 understands that Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have spoken together for the first time following their high speed clash at Silverstone.

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Max Verstappen have spoken together for the first time following their clash at Silverstone. Hamilton, who told the media after winning the British Grand Prix that he intended on contacting his title rival, spoke with Verstappen this week as tensions between their two teams has reached new heights following the outcome of Sunday's race. The Dutch driver is at home in Monaco recovering after being hospitalised for precautionary checks following their collision. A source has confirmed to RacingNews365.com that the two drivers have spoken, but it's not yet been explained who contacted whom. There has also been no indication as to how the conversation went, whether either driver apologised to the other, or the tone of the chat.
