F1 Championship Standings after 2022 Mexican Grand Prix

Max Verstappen won in Mexico to extend his championship lead with Lewis Hamilton second and Sergio Perez third.

Max Verstappen won the Mexican Grand Prix for a record-breaking 14th win of the season, as teammate Sergio Perez cemented second place in the Formula 1 standings.

Red Bull have never achieved a 1-2 in the standings, with Perez now enjoying a five-point lead over Charles Leclerc on an off-day for Ferrari as he finished sixth.

Elsewhere, Daniel Ricciardo scored good points in seventh after a late charge, while Mercedes closed in on Ferrari in the Constructors'.
