Audi's first special livery in F1 will pay tribute to motorsport icon Tazio Nuvolari.
Nuvolari, often regarded as the greatest of the pre-Second World War drivers, drove the monstrous Type D Auto Union cars in the late 1930s, which later morphed into Audi.
The Italian won 24 grand prix races, the Mille Miglia and the Le Mans 24 Hours in a career which ended in April 1950, just the month prior to the first world championship grand prix at Silverstone on May 13th that year.
In tribute to "the Flying Mantuan", Audi drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will sport a special nod to Nuvolari during this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
