Max Verstappen rules out immediate Red Bull contract extension

Max Verstappen has ruled out signing an immediate contract extension, insisting that he first wants to decide whether he even wishes to continue beyond his current deal.

The four-time world champion is currently contracted to Red Bull until the end of 2028 but has hinted that he could leave F1 at the end of the season if changes to the regulations are not made.

Kimi Antonelli issues Mercedes instruction after fresh George Russell talks

Kimi Antonelli has told Mercedes it cannot place its drivers "on a leash" after a fresh round of talks with team-mate George Russell.

Last time out in Canada, the Mercedes drivers engaged in fierce battles for the lead of the Sprint and grand prix, with Antonelli branding Russell's defence in the former as "naughty".

Lewis Hamilton delivers verdict on Ferrari Monaco glory chances

Lewis Hamilton has downplayed Ferrari's chances of Monaco Grand Prix glory, but has not ruled it out completely.

Owing to the Circuit de Monaco playing to the strengths of the SF-26 car with low-speed corners and a lack of required power, Hamilton and team-mate Charles Leclerc have been tipped to compete for a first grand prix win of the season.

George Russell ramps up Kimi Antonelli title pressure after Mercedes demand

George Russell insists that the 2026 F1 drivers' title is now Kimi Antonelli's "to lose" as he issues a fresh Mercedes demand.

The Italian now holds a 43-point championship lead over Russell following his engine failure in Canada, which handed Antonelli a fourth-straight win.

Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc summoned over unusual Monaco rules breach

Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc must attend Monaco Grand Prix stewards on Friday morning after an unusual rules breach on Thursday.

Both Norris and Leclerc were found to be in breach of Article B10.1.1a of the sporting regulations, with this covering late attendance at the official FIA press conference.
