Ferrari's new F1-75 proved the star performer on the opening morning of pre-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, as F1's 2022 season preparations kicked up a gear on Wednesday.
Starting off in the high 1m21s on the Hard compound, Charles Leclerc whittled his times away to a 1:20.165 on the Medium compound with just over an hour to run before the mandatory lunch break. His time went unbeaten for the remainder of the morning, meaning Ferrari claimed the first headlines of pre-season testing.
