Williams Racing have been forced to pull the augmented reality app reveal of their 2021 car after the platform was hacked prior to launch.
In a statement, Williams said that it had pulled the app from the Apple App Store and Android Google Play store after it was compromised before the planned unveiling.
“We were very much looking forward to sharing this experience with our fans, particularly during this difficult time when being able to bring in-person experiences directly to our fans is sadly not possible. We can only apologise that this has not been possible,” the team said.
