The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix marks the second race of the 2024 Formula 1 season, held around the high-speed Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
Max Verstappen will start the event from pole position after besting Charles Leclerc to pole position by over two-tenths of a second.
Verstappen is vying to become the first repeat winner of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, having prevailed at the 2022 edition of the event.
But what weather conditions are the drivers set to face in the upcoming race?
Dry and warm
As you might expect, there is no chance of rain disrupting the Grand Prix with a cloudless night sky set to provide the background for the main event.
The day in Jeddah will be sunny with highs of 29 or 30 degrees Celcius, however they will drop to around 25 degrees Celcius when the race gets underway at 20:00 local time.
The wind will be moderate from the northwest with maximum speeds of 19 km/h expected, while higher wind gusts could provide an issue for the drivers in the braking zone.
There is also little danger of the sand being blown from a nearby desert to fall upon the circuit as the wind will be blowing from the direction of the Red Sea.
