Vettel looks back on time with Ferrari

Four-time champion Sebastian Vettel says his time at Ferrari was a memorable experience even if he ultimately failed to win the world title

Despite failing to meet his personal ambition of winning an F1 driver's title with Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel says his time with Ferrari was memorable nonetheless. After spending six seasons at the Italian team, Vettel will enter a new phase in his career when he makes his Formula 1 debut with Aston Martin at the first race of the season in 2021. Nevertheless, the German has fond memories of his time with Ferrari. "I think racing for Ferrari is a unique experience and probably I'm very sure will remain with me and part of me for the rest of my life," Vettel told RacingNews365.com among others. "I had a great time with Ferrari, I learned a lot, I met a lot of great people and I'm very grateful." Vettel though remains focused on the future, saying he is completely engrossed with the upcoming challenges that will come with racing for the Aston Martin team. "I'm very much looking forward to the new challenge in front of me," Vettel said. "Generally, I haven't been stuck in the past and I was always happy to look forward and I am happy to look forward today and therefore happy to look forward to the challenge here (Aston Martin)."
