In the immediate aftermath of their huge crash at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Sergio Perez appeared to confront Carlos Sainz after stepping out of his car.
Towards the end of the race, the duo engaged in a battle for third place and the final spot on the podium.
The pair ran side-by-side on the exit of Turn 2 before collecting each other at high speed, sending both into the barrier.
Perez was notably angry over the team radio as the prospect of his first podium finish since April went up in tears, while a perplexed Sainz voiced: “What happened? What happened?"
Both drivers were declared medically sound after the race, but immediately after jumping out of his car, Perez appeared to confront Sainz.
The Spaniard was still sitting in the cockpit of his stricken Ferrari before Perez walked away from the wreckage.
