Mercedes enjoyed its strongest performance of the season in the Canadian Grand Prix, with a new front-wing helping George Russell and Lewis Hamilton.
The previous 'low-drag' front wing has been abandoned for a more conventional design, with the W15 proving quick and responsive throughout practice, as the team headed into qualifying in Montreal as favourites for pole position.
Russell duly delivered with a P1 start, and converted that into Mercedes' first grand prix podium of the year, after Hamilton finished second in the China sprint.
Both Russell and Hamilton were disappointed with their three-four finish in the race, although Toto Wolff urged them to look at the positives as the team continues to slowly close the gap on Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari.
There is confidence in the team that it is finally on the right path after a troubled first two seasons of the ground-effect era, but do you think Mercedes is definitely back in the mix in F1?
