Jake joined the RacingNews365 team in August 2022, and is currently senior F1 writer on the team.

A motorsport journalist for approaching 15 years now, he previously worked for Autosport and Motorsport, handling UK national racing and latterly, steering coverage of IndyCar and primarily NASCAR.

Since joining the team, he helped to exclusively break one of the biggest stories in recent times in F1, namely the outcome of the Oscar Piastri Contract Recognition Board hearing between McLaren and Alpine.

He has attended multiple grands prix for RacingNews365, and other events including car launches, F175 Live, and special events including dinner at Williams and a recent event at Silverstone with Mercedes driver George Russell.

He is also RacingNews365’s court and legal specialist, and was present in the UK High Court in London for the recent Alex Palou vs McLaren and Felipe Massa vs F1 and the FIA court cases.

Among the team, he is often called upon for his detailed and rich knowledge of the history of F1 and ability to recall the most obscure facts and statistics.
