British F1 driver Lando Norris has said he is unlikely to compete with Max Verstappen and the Redline online team as much as last year. The McLaren driver, who tested positive for COVID-19 on January 5 announced his plans as he recovers from coronavirus. He told RacingNews365 : "I asked Max [Verstappen] during the briefing of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix if he expects to race a lot on the sim this winter. That is not the case for me, as I will spend a lot of time with my family. "I don't have a sim with my parents and I don't expect to be racing much with Max this winter. I expect Bell (Norris’ helmet manufacturer) will send me some more helmets. “I like to make helmet designs, so it's nice that Bell sends me some helmets. However, this also prevents me from getting behind the wheel frequently.” “I also regret that I won’t do much sim racing, because I really enjoy doing it.” Last year, Norris raced several times during the Formula 1 season with custom helmet designs. During the British GP he drove with a design by six-year-old Eva and at the Italian GP he raced with pizza toppings on his crash helmet.
