Max Verstappen made an exceptional start from pole and was unchallenged into the first corner, while chaos unfolded behind at the Circuit of the Americas.

Lance Stroll receives costly FIA penalty after wiping out F1 rival

Lance Stroll has been handed a huge grid penalty for the United States Grand Prix - after his Sprint collision with Esteban Ocon.

In the closing laps of the shorter race at Austin, Stroll tried a legitimate move on Ocon's Haas for 12th place at Turn 1, but badly misjudged the move, and thumped into the rear of Ocon's car.

Ferrari clarify Fred Vasseur future after Christian Horner speculation

Ferrari has issued a statement addressing the future of team principal Fred Vasseur amid a challenging on-track period for the Italian squad.

Ferrari entered the current season hoping to pose a challenge for the world championship, having narrowly missed out on a constructors’ title last year.

Ferrari to accelerate search for 'critical' fix after Lewis Hamilton failure

Ferrari is to accelerate its search for fixes to its systems to ensure it does not suffer a repeat of Lewis Hamilton's brake failure, ahead of the "critical" Mexico City GP.

In Singapore, Hamilton was running seventh, but with more than a pit-stop gap behind him, Ferrari elected to stop him for a second time for a set of soft tyres to try to catch and pass the Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli as the two teams battle Red Bull for runners-up in the constructors'.

Isack Hadjar punches himself after major USGP qualifying smash

Isack Hadjar suffered a scary crash in the opening minutes of qualifying at this weekend's United States Grand Prix, before punching himself repeatedly in the cockpit. 

Just three minutes into the first part of qualifying at the Circuit of the Americas, Hadjar crashed heavily at the high-speed Turn 6.
